The method behind this course

It started with a single idea: that marketers and communications professionals could position their brand far better by working with their own teams instead of only their company channels. Koen Jordaans developed that idea into a book, and from there into a complete framework: Social Reach Optimization. This course is that framework, taught in five modules.

What this course is built on

From consultancy to method

Apostle grew out of a consultancy background in social strategy and organisational change. As organisations became larger and more complex, the need for a scalable and governable approach to employee advocacy became clear. That approach is what you learn in this course.

Proven at scale

27 active countries, more than 1,000 organisations, 47 supported languages and 179,000 social posts a year. The model has been tested in practice, not in a classroom.

Fifteen years of practice

The team has over fifteen years of experience in the advocacy domain, working from the head office in the Netherlands. Programmes are delivered through a proven methodology, guided by Apostle consultants or certified partners.

The mission behind it

"To help companies turn their people into authentic voices online that build trust, community and lasting impact." Employee advocacy should be a strategic capability, embedded across marketing, sales, recruitment and HR.

From method to course

The SRO Institute is the academy of Apostle. The course teaches the method, the platform makes it work day to day.

This course turns that method into something you can apply. Five modules, fourteen lessons, and a launch plan you run in your own organisation. Finish with the exam and receive your certificate.
